School has started, the UT Longhorns have kicked off their first game of the season victoriously and it’s starting to get a little cooler in Austin…well, sorta! Welcome to September in Austin! You would think it’s ACL around here with all of the amazing concerts going on this month. If you dig the music scene, make sure to check out Austin natives, Reckless Kelly for their cd release party at the Paramount.
Our favorite event this month? The annual Pecan Street Festival is always a blast! Grab some art, listen to music, eat yummy grub and soak in the energy of eclectic downtown Austin. This event is free and fun for the whole family. Enjoy!

Laura is a third generation native of Austin who grew up in Tarry Town in Central Austin. She is the owner and broker of West Austin Properties and has been selling real estate in the Austin area since 1979. Laura is married to the love of her life, Brad, and they have two grown daughters. Together, they love to explore all of the fun spots Austin has to offer.
