NOVEMBER 2010

It is hard to believe that we have already reached November! This month brings the start of the holidays, and before we know it, the holidays will have passed us by and we will see the end of 2010.

Thanksgiving is such a great time of year. That day brings us wonderful food (sometimes too much as we feel ourselves slipping into the inevitable turkey coma), football, fun times with those we love, and most importantly gives us a reminder to be thankful for all that we have.

Here at West Austin Properties we are especially thankful for you, our friends, clients and customers. We hope to continue the relationship that we have with you throughout what tiny bit of 2010 is left and into 2011. Please contact us if we can be of any assistance to you during this busy holiday season…and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Saturday November 27, 2010, Chuy’s  Christmas Parade, Downtown Austin

Why wait ’til December for a Christmas Parade when you can attend Chuy’s Christmas Parade in Austin during November? This unique Christmas parade raises money for “Operation Blue,” which provides toys to needy children in the Austin area.  The parade route begins at the State Capitol at 11th and Congress and proceeds south along Congress to Cesar Chavez.  Held the Saturday following Thanksgiving, Chuy’s Christmas Parade features giant inflatable balloons, holiday floats, classic cars, marching bands and Santa. However, in addition to being great entertainment for those in attendance, Chuy’s Christmas Parade also serves as a toy drive for needy children. Spectators are encouraged to bring a toy, which will be collected by ‘Santa’s Helpers’ on behalf of Operation Blue during the parade. http://www.chuysparade.com/parade_info.html
