There are lots of family friendly things to do this weekend! Since there are so many I will give you the basics and the links to more information.

Barkitecture has become an Austin favorite! Hosted by Animal Lovers of Austin, Inc., and the 2nd Street District, this architectural dog-centric fundraiser showcases doghouses created by some of Austin’s best and brightest architects, designers and builders.  Austin Barkitecture

First Saturday – Walk from Barton Springs Road down South First and visit locally owned shops and purchase items at discounted rates, enjoy live music, food in the South First independent business district.  First Saturday
Austin Celtic Festival at Fiesta Gardens- November 6th and 7th, the largest gathering of Celts returns for its 14th year in Austin.  Featuring 4 stages of international and regional Irish and Scottish bands, dance, storytelling, sheep herding, Highland Games, and much more.   A festival for the whole family on the shores of Lady Bird Lake!  Celtic Festival
