What combines several of Austin’s most popular pastimes in one fun event? It’s the Urban Assault Ride. Add bike races, adventure races, and music festivals into one and you get the UAR. The 1st UAR was in Austin TX in June 2003; we started it all! Its popularity has increased dramatically and now it’s held all over the country. Laura is a third generation native of Austin who grew up in Tarry Town in Central Austin.
